The client needed a brand identity that balanced cultural authenticity with a modern dining experience, appealing to both traditional diners and a younger, urban audience in a competitive hospitality market.



Process


We explored Zen philosophy and Japanese symbolism to anchor the brand in cultural depth while maintaining contemporary relevance. Key motifs included the Torii gate, symbolising transition, and the Enso circle, representing enlightenment. These were supported by minimalist typography to create an elegant and contemporary identity.



Result


The new identity provided a cohesive and versatile visual language that strengthened the restaurant’s positioning within the hospitality sector. By combining authenticity with modern design, the brand now resonates across diverse customer segments, building trust and long-term recognition.
